Here are our thoughts and philosophy about learning about God and our faith:

Learning should be fun, exciting and inspiring—for both kids and adults! When we learn, we feel good about it. When we learn about God, we feel REALLY good about it. Why? Because we grow in the right ways, ways that are good for us and for everyone else. It’s like realizing we’ve ended up on the right path heading up a majestic mountain. And we find lots of others on that path, too!We subscribe to the tenets expressed in the Episcopal Church’s “CHARTER FOR LIFELONG CHRISTIAN FORMATION,” which holds that “Christian Formation is the lifelong process of growth in relationship with God, self, others, and all creation. In the process, we are transformed into the people God wants us to be.” Basically, the idea is that learning about God and our faith can begin very early in life, and it really doesn’t ever end. And when we try to keep on that principle in an intentional way, our lives generate holiness, righteousness, and peace—by the grace of God, and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
