St. Andrew’s Nursery 2019
There are many ways that the St. Andrew’s Church continues to create space for the children of the Island and the St. Andrew’s Nursery is one way. Again with the steady and faithful assistance of Michael Brady and Heather Anne Slayton we ministered to the children of the parish with play and songs while their parents were able to attend the service next door. Attendance was stable this year; parishioners with young families coming to the service have become regular faces on Sundays and at coffee hour. God blesses us daily with the special gifts that only young people can bring; with their energy, enthusiasm, and creativity. I am thankful every day for the grace God shares with us through our community of faithful as we respond to the daily needs of children, supporting their growing minds, hearts, and faith formation.
