Outreach at St. Andrew’s takes many forms, from local support of island non-profits to contributions on a national and international level.
Parish Donations from the Greely Fund and the Mission & Outreach Fund:

Society of Saint John the Evangelist, Cambridge $500.00

Common Cathedral, Boston $1000.00

Christmas in Edgartown: Raising awareness and donations to support Houses of Grace, Heifer International and Habitat for Humanity.

Sunday Collections: Approx. $200.00 (plus dried goods) to support the Island Food Pantry and winter clothing donations for Clothing to Go, which provides free clothing to those who need it. Both programs operate out of the Stone Church in Vineyard Haven;

Diocesan Assessment: Approx. $35,000.00 in support of the wider work of the Church in our diocese and the world.

The Rector’s Discretionary Fund:

In addition to various financial assistance to individuals, Father Chip donated monies to support:

Use of the Church, Parish Hall and Parish House:

Annual hosting of the Neighborhood Convention; Occasional music concerts, wedding and funeral receptions, gatherings of the Scottish Society, Island Clergy Meetings; Monthly meetings of The Women’s Club of Martha’s Vineyard; Four weekly AA meetings, one weekly EDA meeting, One weekly Centering Prayer gathering, one weekly Community Supper in the winter months, host site Houses of Grace four nights per week January 1 through March 31, 2019.
