Search Committee Update:

 

On Sunday, December 14th, the Search Committee gave an overview of the findings generated from the Congregation Assessment Tool or CAT, that so many of you participated in. Following the presentation questions were answered, next steps in the process were discussed, and thoughtful and insightful information was shared with the group.  As the search process continues we will provide more opportunities for further discussion about the CAT findings and what we seek in our new rector.  A link to the presentation is included here.

Search Committee Update:

 

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, members of the search committee and Vestry spent the afternoon meeting with our Diocesan consultants, Liz Tunney and Kelly O’Connor.  Liz and Kelly were charged with the task of compiling, analyzing and formatting a formal report based on the results of the CAT survey that 75 of you took.

They then went through all of the findings, explaining in detail the various components and categories of the survey and the significance of the data as it relates to St. Andrew’s. 

There is a tremendous amount of information contained in the report and we as the search committee and Vestry still need time to review, digest and discuss.

Our plan is to prepare a presentation for the congregation that will give an overview of the data and provide us an opportunity to have more in depth conversations about the results.

Suffice it to say the session with Liz and Kelly was extremely informative, productive and thought provoking. 

Please stay tuned as we prepare this next step, we were told, all the information in this report should be explored and validated in further conversation.  Survey data is not the end of a conversation, but the beginning, and we look forward to having those conversations with you all.

Search Committee Update:

The Search Committee is pleased to report that we received 75 surveys, an impressive number by all measures.  

We are currently in the process of creating a Parish Profile Document for St. Andrew’s Church which will include photos for our website.  We are meeting with two representatives from the Diocese on November 8th along with the Vestry for a summary of Survey results.  Our first profile draft was received last week and further work on the profile will be done on October 22nd.  Thank you for your help and support for the us as we prepare to make a call for our new rector over the coming months.

Almighty God, Giver of every good gift,

Look with favor upon this selection committee.

Guide our minds as we work to choose a new rector for this parish.

Grant us wisdom, discernment, and a clear sense of your will,

As we seek a faithful pastor who will care for your people and equip our ministries.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will be present throughout this process,

Guiding the search committee, the vestry and all potential candidates.

May we be united in our desire to find the person you have chosen for us.

May our new rector be a beacon of love, hope and faith in our community.
