Palmer Marrin, Warden
I have been a member of St. Andrew’s for 8 years since we moved here full time.
My husband and I were drawn to the church for its various ministries and outreach work.
Our rector spent time in the community working on housing, homelessness and food issues.
The congregation was warm and welcoming and we felt right at home.
I have served at the homeless shelter, community suppers and flower committee.
Barbara Rush, Warden
This is Barb’s second time serving as Warden at St Andrews. She has been a member of St Andrews Church since 2018 when she moved to the island full time. She has been a life long summer resident and was married at St Andrews back in 1990. She works as an oncology nurse practitioner at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. She lives with her husband, Ron, her Mom, Liz Huss, and their cat Nina. She has an adult son, Ben, who also lives on island.
Ann Barnett, Treasurer
I am a cradle Episcopalian and a lifelong Martha’s Vineyard “summer person”….  My house in Edgartown was my first house, and I retired here in 2017. I grew up in New Jersey, graduated from Lafayette College, and have an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. I spent more than 30 years with IBM and lived in many different states as well as France and England. Now I am lucky enough to live here!

Â
Cargill Biggers , Vestry at Large
Â
I was confirmed in the Church of England and raised at Trinity Church in Southport, Connecticut, where I sang in the choir and was part of a vibrant youth group during the 1970s. After returning to Southport with my husband, Kelsey, to raise our two daughters, I rejoined Trinity as a parent and became deeply involved in parish life. My service included directing the annual Christmas Pageant, serving on the Vestry, and later as Junior Warden, helping guide the parish through a period of transition that included search committees and interim leadership during the tenure of (now) Vineyarder, Bishop Ian Smith.Â
For nearly 30 years, I have been a summer congregant at Trinity Church in Oak Bluffs and joined St. Andrew’s when my husband and I moved full-time to Harthaven in Oak Bluffs from Connecticut. I currently serve as the Community Engagement and Special Projects Director at the Vineyard Preservation Trust. I am honored to serve on the Vestry at St. Andrew’s and to serve the balance of Bonnie Deitz’s term.
